Abstract

El presente proceso comprende un medio para ahorrar energía en una o más bombas de procesamiento accionando la o las bombas con un medio de accionamiento de velocidad variable. La presente resulta particularmente útil en la separación de un producto adsorbido de una mezcla de componentes que usa adsorción por lecho móvil simulado asociada con un caudal circulante grande bombeado con el medio de accionamiento de velocidad variable para la conservación de energía respecto del estado de la técnica. La mejora es particularmente aplicable a un proceso para la separación de para-xileno de aromáticos C₈ mezclados.
