Abstract

Un dispositivo para la transferencia de fluidos con compactación vertical (10) puede incluir un conducto lateral para la transferencia de fluidos (12) para transportar un fluido de transferencia a través del mismo y que será sostenido por las partículas (16) empacadas con una primera densidad. Adicionalmente, el dispositivo (10) puede incluir un elevador (14) acoplado con el conducto lateral para la transferencia de fluidos, y en comunicación de fluidos con el mismo (12). El elevador (14) se puede contraer verticalmente en por lo menos un 20% a la vez que mantiene la integridad estructural cuando el conducto lateral para la transferencia de fluidos desciende a medida que las partículas de soporte (16) se ordenan tomando una segunda densidad, que es mayor que la primera densidad.
