Abstract
Se describe aquí un sistema de colocación en el dispositivo de almacenamiento que utiliza el conocimiento de un sistema operativo relacionado a cómo se utilizan los datos en un dispositivo de computación para comunicarse con y administrar más efectivamente los dispositivos de almacenamiento basado en flash. Los datos fríos que no se utilizan con frecuencia pueden diferenciarse de los grupos de datos calientes y colocarse en áreas usadas, mientras que los datos calientes que se utilizan con frecuencia pueden mantenerse fácilmente accesibles. Al agrupar a los datos calientes juntos y a los datos fríos en secciones separadas, el sistema es más capaz de realizar la nivelación del desgaste y prolongar la utilidad del medio flash. El almacenamiento de datos en la nube u otro almacenamiento pueden mantener datos de manera inteligente en una ubicación durante un tiempo corto antes de fusionar datos para escribir en un bloque. Por lo tanto, el sistema aprovecha el conocimiento del sistema operativo de cómo los datos han sido utilizados y se utilizarán para colocar los datos en los dispositivos de almacenamiento basado en flash de una manera efectiva.
