Abstract
Se revela un método para la producción de urea que permite una reducción considerable, incluso hasta cero, de la emisión continua de amoníaco que es consecuencia convencionalmente de tal proceso. De acuerdo con una configuración preferida de la presente, la reacción de formación de urea a partir de anhídrido carbónico y amoniaco se lleva a cabo en una sección de síntesis que no requiere de pasivación por oxígeno. Como resultado de la ausencia de oxígeno, en la sección de síntesis se obtiene una corriente de gas rica en hidrógeno que puede utilizarse como combustible en un incinerador. En el incinerador, se queman las corrientes de gas que contienen el amoníaco del proceso de producción de urea.Reivindicación 1: Un método para la producción de urea que comprende someter el amoniaco y el anhídrido carbónico a reacción bajo condiciones de formación de urea, de modo que se forme una solución de urea acuosa, luego someter dicha solución a concentración de modo que se forme urea concentrada, el método comprende la disponibilidad de una corriente de gas que incluya gas hidrógeno, y el sometimiento de dicho gas que contiene hidrógeno a combustión, bajo la influencia del oxígeno, junto con el gas que contiene amoniaco resultante de la producción de urea. Reivindicación 13: Una planta para la producción de urea, dicha planta comprende una sección de síntesis de urea y un incinerador, dicha sección de síntesis incluye una salida de líquido y una salida de gas, dicha salida de gas está, directa o indirectamente, conectada a una entrada de combustible de dicho incinerador.
