Abstract
Se divulga un método para ser llevado a cabo en una red de comunicación inalámbrica que comprende al menos una estación base asociada a un área correspondiente para transmitir/recibir datos hacia/desde terminales de usuario correspondientes ubicadas dentro de dicha área. El método comprende generar una matriz de velocidad de usuario para cada estación base. Cada elemento de la matriz de velocidad de usuario provee una calificación correspondiente, en términos de velocidad que pueda lograrse, a una terminal de usuario o a un grupo de terminales de usuarios ubicadas dentro del área correspondiente cuando se transmite hacia/desde dicha terminal de usuario o dicho grupo de terminales de usuarios, respectivamente, desde/hacia la estación base mediante el empleo de un modo de transmisión seleccionado entre un conjunto de modos de transmisión previamente determinados. El método comprende, además, el procesamiento de elementos de la matriz de velocidad de usuario con el fin de crear una lista de programación donde los elementos son ordenados por una calificación decreciente, y la asociación de cada terminal de usuario con un modo de transmisión seleccionado correspondiente basándose en la lista de programación para la transmisión/recepción de datos hacia/desde la estación base. Dicho conjunto de modos de transmisión predeterminados incluye al menos un modo de transmisión de multiplexación espacial, un modo de transmisión de diversidad de transmisión y un modo de transmisión de entrada múltiple-salida múltiple para varios usuarios.
