Abstract
La presente se refiere a compuestos bioactivos y metabolitos derivados de cultivos de especies de Chromobacterium responsables de controlar plagas, composiciones que contienen estos compuestos, métodos para obtener estos compuestos y métodos para usar estos compuestos y composiciones para controlar plagas.Reivindicación 1: Un compuesto caracterizado porque (a) tiene actividad pesticida; (b) tiene un peso molecular de aproximadamente 840 - 900 como se determina por Cromatografía Líquida/Espectroscopia de Masas (LC/MS); y (c) tiene una Cromatografía Líquida de Alta Presión (HPLC) tiempo de retención de aproximadamente 7 - 12 minutos en una columna HPLC C-18 de fase inversa usando un sistema de solvente de gradiente agua:acetonitrilo (CH3CN) (0 - 20 min.; 90 - 0% CH3CN acuoso, 20 - 24 min.; 100% CH3CN, 24 - 27 min.; 0 - 90% CH3CN acuoso, 27 - 30 min.; 90% CH3CN acuoso) a 0.5 mL/mm. velocidad de flujo y detección UV de 210 nm; y (d) se obtiene opcionalmente de especies de Chromobacterium.
