Abstract

Método para obtener sulfato de condroitina de sodio de cartílago, notablemente de origen aviar, así como también una preparación de sulfato de condroitina de sodio. Composición farmacéutica que comprende dicha preparación y su uso en el tratamiento de la osteoartritis.Reivindicación 1: La preparación de sulfato de condroitina de sodio que comprende más del 90% de sulfato de condroitina de sodio el cual tiene un índice de polidispersidad inferior o igual a 1,47, medido por cromatografía de exclusión estérica SEC-MALLS. Reivindicación 9: Un método para la preparación del sulfato de condroitina de sodio de cartílago que comprende los siguientes pasos: a) hidrólisis del cartílago en medio acuoso, b) tratamiento térmico de la hidrólisis entre 90 y 100ºC durante 2 a 10 horas, c) separación de la solución de sulfato de condroitina de sodio del hidrolizado, d) floculación de la solución de sulfato de condroitina de sodio y eliminación del floculado, e) purificación de sulfato de condroitina de sodio en la solución obtenida en el paso (d) mediante ultrafiltración, f) tratamiento de la solución de sulfato de condroitina de sodio purificada obtenida en el paso (e) mediante la adición de agua oxigenada a una concentración de 0,02 a 0,2% en masa de agua oxigenada con respecto a la masa total de la solución de sulfato de condroitina de sodio purificada, y g) precipitación de la preparación de sulfato de condroitina de sodio y aislamiento del precipitado de la preparación de sulfato de condroitina de sodio.
