Abstract

Reivindicacion 1: Una broca PDC para perforacion subterránea o formacion de pozos en formaciones subterráneas que comprende: (a) un cuerpo de broca; (b) un miembro de corte central para mejorar la eficiencia de la broca PDC en el centro del cuerpo de la broca, el miembro de corte central comprende: (1) una parte de extremo para engranar al cuerpo de la broca; (2) un miembro adyacente a la parte de extremo; y (3) una pluralidad de fresas soportadas por el miembro, la pluralidad de fresas comprende: (A) una pluralidad de protuberancias, (B) una superficie de corte sobre cada protuberancia, la superficie de corte comprende un ángulo de inclinacion lateral que proporciona una relacion de superposicion entre la superficie de corte sobre cada protuberancia de manera tal que la broca PDC provea una estructura de corte agresiva en el centro de la broca PDC.
