Abstract
Un aparato para codificar comprende un primer conversor de dominio (510), una derivacion conmutable (50), un segundo conversor de dominio (410), un primer procesador (420) y un segundo procesador (520), para obtener una senal de audio codificada que tiene porciones de senal diferentes representadas por datos codificados en diferentes dominios, que han sido codificados mediante diferentes algoritmos de codificacion. Las correspondientes etapas de decodificacion en el decodificador junto con una derivacion para derivar un conversor de dominio, permiten la generacion de una senal de audio decodificada con una elevada calidad y baja velocidad de bits.
