Abstract
Método para controlar una infestacion por spodoptera frugiperda en plantas transgénicas asegurando al mismo tiempo un desarrollo más lento de la resistencia en los insectos Spodoptera frugiperda a dichas plantas. El método comprende expresar en dichas plantas una combinacion de a) una proteína insecticida VIP3 contra dichas especies de insectos y b) una proteína Cry1A o Cry1F insecticida contra dichas especies de insectos. También se provee un método para obtener plantas que comprenden dichas proteínas insecticidas así como plantas o semillas transgénicas resistentes a insectos.
