Abstract

La presente solicitud se dirige a un procedimiento para la obtencion de una mezcla de ésteres de ácidos grasos, apta para como carburante o combustible en motores ciclo diésel, que comprende: a) obtencion de una biomasa microbiana con un contenido en triglicéridos igual o superior al 20% en peso seco, mediante el empleo de un microorganismo oleaginoso (del género rhodosporidium CECT 13006 y CECT 13007), que utiliza glicerina como fuente de carbono; y b) conversion de los triglicéridos contenidos en la biomasa obtenida en la etapa a) en una mezcla de ésteres de ácidos grasos. Asimismo, la solicitud se dirige a dicho microorganismo oleaginoso, a un procedimiento para su seleccion y a polinucleotidos obtenidos a partir del mismo.
