Abstract
Un método en un nodo receptor para manejar informacion de estado de unidades de datos transmitidas desde un nodo emisor al nodo receptor a través de un enlace de radio. El nodo receptor establece (401) que faltan una cantidad de unidades de datos que fueron transmitidas por el nodo emisor, El nodo receptor envía (402) un mensaje de estado reducido al nodo emisor a través del enlace de radio, cuyo mensaje se reduce de modo que comprende el reconocimiento negativo para una primera parte de las unidades de datos faltantes y omite reconocimientos negativos para el resto de las unidades de datos faltantes. El reconocimiento negativo omitido para el resto de las unidades de datos faltantes no será interpretado de forma erronea como unidades de datos recibidas correctamente por el nodo emisor.
