Abstract
Un electrodo destinado a ser utilizado en un proceso de electrolisis para la produccion de aluminio, comprendiendo el electrodo (3, 20) un cuerpo de material carbonáceo calcinado conectado mediante un conductor de corriente eléctrica (1, 21). El conductor de la corriente está empotrado en una entrante situada en dicho cuerpo carbonáceo. La entrante es más ancha que el conductor y está rellena de un material eléctricamente conductor. El material eléctricamente conductor comprende partículas conductoras (4, 4'). El método se refiere a la produccion de un electrodo de este tipo y a la recuperacion del material conductor después de que el electrodo se haya desgastado.
