Abstract
Ácido nucleicos, y variantes y fragmentos de los mismos, obtenidos de cepas de Bacillus thuringiensis que codifican polipéptidos con actividad plaguicida contra plagas de insectos, incluyendo Coleoptera. Realizaciones particulares proveen ácidos nucleicos aislados que codifican proteínas plaguicidas, composiciones plaguicidas, construcciones ADN y microorganismos y plantas transformados que comprenden un ácido nucleico de las realizaciones. Estas composiciones son de utilidad en métodos para controlar plagas, en especial plagas de insectos.
