Abstract

Secuencias de ácidos nucleicos que codifican una hidroxifenilpiruvato dioxigenasa (EC 1.13.11.27, abreviada aquí como HPPD) obtenida a partir de bacterias que pertenecen al género Kordia, así como a las proteínas codificadas por ellas, y a un gen quimérico que comprende dicha secuencia de ácido nucleico, y al uso de dichas secuencias de ácidos nucleicos, proteínas o genes quiméricos para obtener unas plantas que son tolerantes a herbicidas inhibidores de las HPPD.
