Abstract
La presente solicitud proporciona plantas tolerantes al saflufenacil. La presente solicitud también proporciona métodos para controlar el crecimiento de malezas mediante la aplicacion de saflufenacil al que son tolerantes las plantas tolerantes al saflufenacil de la invencion. Las plantas de la solicitud expresan un polipéptido del citocromo P450, cuya expresion confiere, a las plantas, tolerancia al saflufenacil. Reivindicacion 1: Una planta o parte de planta que comprende un polinucleotido recombinante que codifica un polipéptido del citocromo P450, cuya expresion confiere a la planta o parte de planta tolerancia al saflufenacil, caracterizado porque el polipéptido es un polipéptido CYP72A15 o una isoforma de CYP81A o CYP73A, con la condicion de que la isoforma de CYP81A no sea un polipéptido NSF1 de maíz.
