Abstract

Rotor para su uso en un motor o generador eléctrico que permite ajustar el campo magnético de los motores sin escobillas y alternadores para obtener un funcionamiento eficiente en una amplia gama de RPM. El motor o alternador incluye bobinados fijos (o estator) alrededor de un rotor giratorio que lleva los imanes permanentes. Los imanes permanentes son generalmente cilíndricos y tienen los polos Norte y Sur formados longitudinalmente en los imanes. Los circuitos magnéticamente conductivos son formados por los imanes que residen en las piezas polares magnéticamente conductivas (por ejemplo, acero con bajo contenido de carbono o dulce, y/o las capas laminadas aisladas de material no magnetizable). La rotacion de los imanes permanentes rotativos, o la rotacion de las piezas de derivacion magnética magnéticamente no conductiva rotativas, en el interior de las piezas polares refuerzan o debilitan el campo magnético resultante para ajustar el motor o el alternador para un momento de torsion a bajas RPM o para eficiencia a altas RPM. La variacion del campo magnético del rotor ajusta la salida del voltaje de los alternadores permitiendo, por ejemplo, un generador de energía eolica, para mantener una salida de tension fija.
