Abstract

La presente se refiere, en parte, al control de plantas voluntarias monocotiledoneas AAD-1 en campos plantados con cultivos de plantas dicotiledoneas tales como soja o algodon. De acuerdo con algunas realizaciones de la presente se seleccionan herbicidas de ciclohexanodiona por ser una herramienta eficaz para el control de plantas voluntarias AAD-1, ya que los genes AAD no imparten tolerancia a esta clase de química graminicida. Además, los herbicidas de la clase de las imidazolinonas pueden usarse en algunas realizaciones preferidas para el control selectivo de variedades tolerantes a herbicidas o convencionales de maíz voluntario. El maíz AAD-1 que comprende el Evento DAS-40278-9 se usa en algunas realizaciones en particular preferidas.
