Abstract
La presente solicitud provee un dispositivo de sonda y un método asociado para la medicion de un espesor de un deposito de magnetita, en donde el aparato y el método son independientes de la porosidad y permeabilidad magnética del deposito de magnetita. El dispositivo de sonda de esta solicitud es una sonda seguidora de superficie interior y de barrido axial que puede medir de manera precisa y confiable el diámetro interior de un tubo. El dispositivo de sonda de la presente solicitud comprende dos modulos: el primer modulo es el modulo seguidor de superficie y el segundo modulo es una sonda convencional de corrientes parásitas.
