Abstract
En un método para reduccion de una materia prima solida, tal como un compuesto de metal solido, en un aparato electrolítico se dispone una porcion de la materia prima en cada una de dos o más celdas electrolíticas (50, 60, 70, 80). Se provee una sal fundida como un electrolito en cada celda. La sal fundida se hace circular desde un reservorio de sal fundida (10) de modo que la sal fluye a través de cada una de las celdas. La materia prima es reducida en cada celda aplicando un potencial a través de los electrodos en cada celda, en donde el potencial es suficiente para causar la reduccion de la materia prima. La solicitud provee también un aparato para implementar el método.
