Abstract
Un regulador con un cuerpo de válvula que define una trayectoria de flujo para un fluido y que posee un asiento de válvula, una carcasa de accionador acoplada al cuerpo de válvula, un elemento de control dispuesto dentro de la carcasa de accionador y adaptado para desplazarse con relacion al cuerpo de válvula y el asiento de válvula con el fin de regular un flujo del fluido a través de la trayectoria de flujo moviéndose entre una posicion abierta y una posicion cerrada en tanto el elemento de control se acopla al asiento de válvula, y un resorte operativamente acoplado al elemento de control y que desplaza el elemento de control hacia la posicion abierta. El elemento de control incluye una superficie orientada hacia el asiento de válvula que es concava. La superficie concava puede ser un agujero escariado, o puede adoptar una forma convexa, conica, u otra superficie concava adecuada. Bajo esta configuracion, el regulador goza de una mejor estabilidad en entornos de alta presion de entrada, baja presion de salida, alta velocidad de flujo.
