Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un catéter guía que comprende un cuerpo hueco tubular que se extiende a lo largo de un eje principal longitudinal. Dicho cuerpo tubular define al menos un lumen interno apropiado para recibir por lo menos un dispositivo médico. El cuerpo tubular define además al menos una abertura proximal y una abertura distal. El cuerpo tubular incluye una parte distal pre-formada de tal manera que adopta una configuración curvada con respecto al eje principal. Por lo menos la parte distal del cuerpo tubular tiene una forma aplanada que se extiende prevalentemente a lo largo de un eje principal transversal, siendo la curvatura de dicha parte distal creada alrededor de dicho eje principal transversal.
