Un punto de acceso (AP) para efectuar un cambio fluido de canal en una red inalámbrica, caracterizado porque comprende: un dispositivo de notificacion de cambio de canal; un dispositivo de determinacion de cambio de canal conectado a dicho dispositivo de notificacion de cambio de canal; un dispositivo de cambio de canal conectado a dicho dispositivo de determinacion de cambio de canal; un dispositivo de solicitud de medicion conectado a dicho dispositivo de determinacion de cambio de canal; un transmisor/receptor conectado a dicho dispositivo de notificacion de cambio de canal, dicho dispositivo de cambio de canal, y dicho dispositivo de solicitud de medicion; y una antena conectada a dicho transmisor/receptor. También se divulga una estacion (STA) para efectuar un cambio fluido de canal en una red inalámbrica.
