Abstract
Un método y aparato para la operacion de una pila de celdas de combustible de cátodo abierto. La pila de celdas de combustible consta de una entrada de aire al cátodo abierto. La pila de celdas de combustible consta de una entrada de aire al cátodo y un escape de aire del cátodo. Se incluye un paso de realimentacion variable para restituir por lo menos una porcion del aire de escape del cátodo a la entrada de aire del cátodo. Dependiendo de las condiciones de temperatura ambiente, se recicla una proporcion del aire de escape del cátodo a la entrada de aire, lo que permite la operacion en estado estable incluso en condiciones ambiente de operacion bajo cero.
