Abstract

Un método para controlar el comportamiento de los enlaces de la capa inferior relacionados con el traspaso independiente de medios (MIH) de un usuario movil, el cual comprende enviar una primitiva de solicitud de acciones de enlace de MIH, desde una entidad de usuario de MIH hacia una funcion de MIH (MIHF), para solicitar que se ejecuten acciones en un conjunto de enlaces de la capa inferior, hacia las redes de tecnología de acceso a radio heterogénea (RAT). La primitiva incluye parámetros que indican las acciones solicitadas y una demora en el tiempo de ejecucion. Como respuesta se envían primitivas de confirmacion a la entidad de usuario de MIH, para transmitir los resultados de los intentos de ejecucion en las acciones solicitadas.
