Abstract
Un método para soportar un material de catalizador de síntesis de hidrocarburos que incluye un metal catalíticamente activo y un material vehículo sobre un sustrato que incluye las etapas de: (a) aplicar material catalizador sobre el sustrato; y (b) calentar material catalizador para formar una capa de material catalizador fija al sustrato, con las siguientes características: el vehículo catalizador es un oxido refractario inorgánico poroso o su precursor; el material catalizador aplicado en la etapa (a) incluye 60 a 90% p de disolvente, calculado como peso total de capa de material catalizador; cuando se somete el material catalizador a la etapa de calentamiento (b) la misma incluye máxime 10% p de disolvente, calculada como el peso total de capa de material catalizador; en la etapa de calentamiento (b) se calienta el material catalizador a temperaturas en el rango de 250°C a 800°C; las fisuras con espesores submilimétricos se forman uniformemente en la capa; luego de la etapa (b) el material catalizador posee un espesor de 5 a 200 micrones. El control del fraccionamiento del material catalizador en el sustrato, especialmente la presencia de fisuras a distancias regulares de forma tal que existen capas de catalizador continuas en la superficie del sustrato, lo cual reduce la formacion de estrés.
