Abstract
Reivindicacion 1: Un método para tratamientos fotonicos in vivo de estructuras vasculares que utiliza una fuente lumínica y una composicion de esclerosis fotodinámica, que comprende los pasos de: a) identificar una o más venas en un área de tratamiento; b) introducir una composicion de esclerosis fotodinámica en dichas una o más venas; c) aguardar un tiempo suficiente para permitir que dicha composicion de esclerosis fotodinámica interactue con dichas una o más venas; y d) aplicar radiacion a partir de una fuente lumínica apropiada, emitiendo una longitud de onda de activacion absorbida por dicha composicion, a dicha área de tratamiento durante un tiempo suficiente para activar un fotosensibilizador en dicha composicion. Reivindicacion 8: Una composicion fotodinámica para utilizar en un método in vivo tal como el de la reivindicacion 1, que comprende: a) una espuma; y b) un fotosensibilizador o un precursor de fotosensibilizador. Reivindicacion 10: La composicion fotodinámica de acuerdo con la reivindicacion 9, donde dicha espuma para esclerosis comprende un detergente y una solucion de glucosa (solucion de glucosa). Reivindicacion 11: La composicion fotodinámica de acuerdo con la reivindicacion 10, donde dicho detergente es polidodecanol. Reivindicacion 12: La composicion fotodinámica de acuerdo con la reivindicacion 8, donde dicho fotosensibilizador o precursor fotosensibilizador es temoporfina.
