Abstract

Procedimiento e instalacion para la produccion de hierro esponjoso a partir de un material que contiene oxido de hierro, a través de la reduccion directa en un recipiente de reduccion (1) , utilizando un gas reductor, en el que la totalidad del gas reductor es introducida preferentemente en el cuarto inferior del recipiente de reduccion (1) por medio de varios canales de distribucion (2) del gas reductor, dispuestos entre ellos en forma de estrella o en forma paralela, y distribuida de manera uniforme en la totalidad de la seccion transversal del recipiente de reduccion (1). Reivindicacion 5: Procedimiento segun reivindicacion 1, caracterizado porque en el caso de canales de distribucion de gas reductor dispuestos en forma de estrella, al lado de un canal de distribucion de gas reductor más largo, siempre se halla dispuesto un canal de distribucion de gas reductor más corto, donde los canales de distribucion de gas reductor más cortos se hallan dispuestos escasamente más altos que los canales de distribucion de gas reductor más largos.
