Abstract

El factor de transcripcion GATA de lapresente está involucrado en la regulacion de la acumulacion de azucar y nitrogeno en las plantas. Un aumento de la expresion de este gen o de genes sustancialmente similares puede producir plantas con utilizacion mejorada del nitrogeno y mayorrendimiento y mayor tolerancia al estrés.A nitrogen regulated GATA transcription factor gene that is required for the accumulation of sugar and nitrogen and the modulation of the expression of this gene to modulate a characteristic in a plant. The transcription factor GATA of the present is involved in the regulation of the accumulation of sugar and nitrogen in plants. An increase in the expression of this gene or substantially similar genes can produce plants with improved nitrogen utilization and higher yield and greater tolerance to stress.
