Abstract
Una válvula con velocidad de flujo constante posee una carcasa en la cual se dispone una camisa rotativa entre la entrada y salida de la válvula. Las aberturas en la camisa se desplazan para alinearse con la entrada y salida de la válvula al girarla camisa para establecer la velocidad de flujo. Un piston puede desplazarse longitudinalmente en el interior del alma de la camisa. El piston posee orificios que se alinean con las aberturas en la camisa ante el desplazamiento longitudinal delpiston. Los conductos de presion conectan cada extremo de la camisa a la entrada y la salida. El piston se desplaza en respuesta a los cambios de presion relativa en la entrada y salida comunicadas por conductos de presion. El área de superposicionentre los orificios del piston y las aberturas de la camisa varía en funcion del movimiento del piston para garantizar una velocidad de flujo constante a pesar de los cambios de presion relativa en la entrada y la salida. Los extremos de la camisaestán en comunicacion de fluido para controlar la sensibilidad de respuesta del piston.
