Abstract
La presente solicitud revela un proceso para la síntesis de un éster de sacarosa-6, que comprende: (a) formar una primera mezcla de. reaccion que comprende sacarosa, un solvente aprotico polar y un promotor de la acilacion a base de organoestano; (b) eliminar el agua de dicha primera mezcla de reaccion poniéndola en contacto, de manera continua y contraria a la corriente, con gas o vapor solvente capaz de eliminar el agua a una temperatura, presion y tiempo de residencia suficientes para proporcionar una segunda mezcla de reaccion que está sustancialmente libre de agua; a lo cual le sigue, (c) agregar un anhídrido carboxílico a dicha segunda mezcla de reaccion para obtener una tercera mezcla de reaccion, y mantener dicha tercera mezcla de reaccion a una temperatura y durante un período de tiempo suficientes para producir un éster de sacarosa-6. El ester de sacarosa-6 se puede usar para elaborar sucralosa.
