Abstract
Se describen artículos y métodos para la deteccion y/o cuantificacion de substancias orgánicas a analizar. La solicitud provee una tira de prueba indicadora química que comprende: un substrato; y un recubrimiento que comprende un complejo de leuco- colorante sobre el substrato, siendo el recubrimiento insoluble en agua y reactivo con una substancia orgánica a analizar, derivándose el recubrimiento de una solucion de leuco-colorante y agente revelador. En otro aspecto, el recubrimiento comprende además un adyuvante en forma de un material aprotico hidrofobo, polar, insoluble en agua que extiende el límite inferior de deteccion para la substancia a analizar. En otro aspecto, la presente provee un método de uso de una tira de prueba indicadora química, que comprende: (a) exponer la tira de prueba indicadora química a una muestra líquida que comprende una substancia orgánica a analizar; (b) medir un cambio de color en la tira de prueba indicadora química después del paso de exposicion; y (c) correlacionar el cambio de color con la concentracion de la substancia a analizar en la muestra.
