Abstract

Un artículo absorbente que incluye una capa de cubierta, una capa de barrera y un sistema absorbente dispuesto entre la capa de cubierta y la capa de barrera, el artículo absorbente es capaz de tener caída y posee los atributos de absorbencia requeridos de una toalla sanitaria. Reivindicacion 1: Un artículo absorbente que comprende: una capa de cubierta, una capa de barrera, un sistema absorbente dispuesto entre dicha capa de cubierta y dicha capa de barrera, en donde dicho artículo absorbente tiene un grosor de menos de 2.5 mm; en donde el artículo absorbente tiene una primera porcion y una segunda porcion, dicha segunda porcion tiene una MCB que es mayor a una MCB de dicha primera porcion; y en donde por lo menos parte de dicha primera porcion cumple una de las siguientes ecuaciones: Al > 2.37-0.77 In(BW/MCB), donde BW/MCB es L 5.9; y Al > 1.0, donde BW/MCB es > 5.9
