Abstract

La presente se refiere a un método para la identificacion de placa bacteriana, cepillo dental para llevar a cabo dicho método y a una composicion dental, pasta dentífrica, en cualquiera de sus formas, líquida, gel, spray, adicionada con fluoresceína, a usar con el mismo. La misma permitirá facilitar la visualizacion, deteccion, remocion, control y certificacion de la PB por parte del usuario mismo, evitando así el desarrollo y generacion de todas la enfermedades relacionadas con dicha placa bacteriana. Es sabido que la placa bacteriana resulta invisible al ojo humano, siendo solo posible detectarla cuando adquiere cierto espesor. La presente propone el uso en conjunto de la fluoresceína incorporada a una pasta dentífrica, gel, spray o líquido, y una luz visible para la deteccion de dicha placa. Dicha luz estará incorporada al cepillo y/o en forma solidaria a manera de accesorio aplicable a cualquier tipo de cepillo dental como un kit, merced al uso de adhesivos o a un sistema de adhesion, encastre, agarre, al mango del cepillo dental.
