Abstract
En un sistema de comunicaciones de multiples portadoras que emplea la modulacion y codificacion adaptable, un receptor realimenta la informacion sobre calidad de canal para un grupo de subportadoreas ''sectorizado'', en lugar de enviar un informe de calidad individual para cada subportadora. Un transmisor utiliza la informacion sobre calidad de canal correspondiente al sector para determinar un conjunto de valores? eff que corresponden a un conjunto de candidatos de esquemas de modulacion y codificacion donde ?eff es una SNR efectiva que produciría una FER igual en un canal AWGN.
