Abstract

El sistema registra el movimiento de organismos diminutos que se alojan en microplacas cerradas que se atraviesan con un microhaz infrarrojo, generando una senal de funcion de la difraccion causada por el cuerpo del microorganismo. El procedimiento de deteccion de comportamiento incluye procesar la senal de difraccion para discriminar la actividad locomotora del microorganismo. Presenta aplicaciones en el campo cronobiologico, estudios de longevidad, toxicidad y farmacología.
