Abstract
Un quemador de mezclado de superficie (16) está posicionado en alineacion con un molde una máquina formadora de recipiente de vidrio del tipo S. I. para producir un suministro de hollín para lubricar una superficie interior del molde,. Siendo producido el hollín por combustion de un suministro de combustible rico, de un combustible y un oxidante. El suministro el combustible y el oxidante es encendido intermitentemente mediante un dispositivo de formacion de chispa (54) que está posicionado adentro de una cabeza hollinadora (10), y una bobina de ignicion (56) está posicionada adentro de la cabeza hollinadora para despachar un pulso de alto voltaje al dispositivo de formacion de chispa mediante el método de descarga inductiva. La bobina de ignicion está posicionada suficientemente cerca del dispositivo de formacion de chispa, y preferiblemente en contacto directo con él, para evitar interferencia con la correcta operacion de una disposicion de control electronico para la máquina S. I:. se provee una fuente de potencia (62) posicionada lejos para energizar la bobina de ignicion, proveyendo la fuente de potencia, potencia para la bobina de ignicion a un voltaje relativamente bajo, por ejemplo, 12- 24 voltios cc.
