También se describen plantas transgénicas, células huésped y cmposiciones derivadas de las mismas que comprenden un segmento de ácido nucleico codificador de una d-endotoxina de B. thuringiensis, como uno que codifica un miembro de la familia de proteínas cristalinas Cry1, que son resistentes a insectos, inclusive Epinotia aporema.Methods to control infestation in a soybean plant by members of the Tortricidac insect family are described.
