Abstract
Fluido base agua para usar en la perforacion, cementacion, fracturacion, reparacion o abandono de un pozo subterráneo a través de una formacion que contiene esquistos que se hinchan en presencia de agua. En una realizacion ilustrativa, el fluido de perforacion está compuesto por una fase continua de base acuosa, un agente densificante, y un agente inhibidor de la hidratacion de esquistos. El agente inhibidor de la hidratacion de esquistos debe tener la formula general (1), en la cual R y R' son independientemente seleccionados a partir del grupo formado por hidrogeno, metilo, etilo o propilo, y X tiene un valor entre 1 y 6. El agente inhibidor de la hidratacion de esquistos está presente en una concentracion suficiente para reducir substancialmente el hinchamiento de los esquistos presentes en los cortes de perforacion cuando éstos entran en contacto con el fluido de perforacion. El fluido de perforacion se puede formular incluyendo una amplia variedad de componentes de fluido de perforacion de base acuosa, tales como agente densificantes, agentes de control de filtrado, agente de suspension, agentes viscosificantes, agentes de control de la reología, así como otros compuestos y materiales conocidos por aquellos experimentados en el arte. Los fluidos también se pueden usar en fracturacion y en la disposicion por reinyeccion de los cortes de perforacion en una formacion seleccionada para su disposicion subterránea.
