Abstract

Barra de suspensión (22) para una placa catódica (20) y método para producir un cátodo (1) para la recuperación electrolítica de metales. La barra de suspensión comprende un elemento de soporte (22) que preferentemente es de acero inoxidable y hueco. El revestimiento de un metal eléctricamente conductor (24) se fija a la barra de acero inoxidable mediante cualquier mecanismo apropiado, por ejemplo, ajuste entre piezas, soldadura, fijación química o mecánica o coextrusión o formación de perfiles. La fijación del revestimiento al elemento de soporte de acero inoxidable presenta ventajas significativas con respecto a las técnicas de electrodeposición convencionales, incluyendo el hecho que se pueden aplicar condiciones de ingeniería más precisas con respecto al espesor del revestimiento.
