Abstract

Una composición de emulsión de combustible derivado de Fischer-Tropsch y agua, y el uso de la misma en un motor de encendido por compresión. Las emisiones, por ejemplo, las de Nox, humo negro y/o partículas de materia, son menores que las que se producen con combustibles convencionales, y no aumenta el retraso en el encendido ni se reduce el número de cetanos. Estos resultados se obtienen sin ser necesaria la adición de mejoradores del encendido, o adicionando niveles menores de estos mejoradores, y sin realizar modificaciones al motor.
