Abstract
Se provee un método y aparato para reducir el informe de estimado de velocidad de errores de bloque (BLER) para conservar recursos de sistema, mientras que se eliminan informes de estimado de BLER que no es probable requieran un ajuste de relaciónobjetivo entre senal e interferencia (SIR). Se recibe una pluralidad de bloques de datos a través de un intervalo de tiempo de transmisión y se almacena el recuento de bloques de datos en la memoria. Se verifica sí los bloques de datos tienenerrores a través de una unidad de verificación de errores y se almacena el número de bloques de datos erróneos en la memoria. Un procesador realiza un cálculo de estimado de BLER en base al recuento de bloques de datos y al recuento de bloques dedatos erróneos. Se produce un informe de estimado de BLER y se lo envía para un ajuste de SIR objetivo si es accionado por comparaciones de umbral realizadas por el procesador, incluyendo el valor de recuento de bloque de datos comparado con unumbral predeterminado, y el valor del estimado de BLER comparado con un múltiplo predeterminado del valor BLER objetivo.
