Un método para localizar una pluralidad de usuarios sincronizando localización de equipo usuario (UE) específico y localización de grupo usuario Punto a Multipunto (PtM) para reducir el consumo de energía cuando el UE está en un estado de recepción discontinua. Las identidades del UE son definidas de manera que los casos de localización y canales de localización comunes se sincronicen para múltiples usuarios dentro de un grupo usuario PtM.
