Abstract
La presente tiene por objeto un procedimiento de refrigeración de una célula de electrólisis ígnea (1) para la producción de aluminio caracterizado porque se producen gotitas de un fluido portador calor (o "fluido portador de calor dividido"), preferentemente en un volumen confinado en contacto con una determinada superficie de por lo menos una pared de la caja (2) de la cuba de la célula de electrólisis (1), con el fin de provocar la evaporación de todas o parte de las susodichas gotitas por contacto con la susodicha superficie y de extraer calor de la susodicha superficie. La presente también tiene por objeto un sistema de refrigeración (100) apto para poner por obra el procedimiento de refrigeración. La presente permite obtener una eficiencia de la refrigeración elevada gracias al calor latente de vaporización del fluido portador de calor.
