Abstract

Derivados N-acilamino arilo de fórmula general (1) en donde: R1 es halógeno, halógeno-alquilo (C1-6) , ciano, alcoxilo C1-6 ó halógeno-alcoxilo (C1-6); R21, R22, R23 y R24 independientemente entre sí se seleccionan del grupo formado por hidrógeno, alquilo C1-6, halógeno, halógeno-alquilo (C1-6), hidroxilo, alcoxilo C1-6 ó -CHO; R3 es hidrógeno o alquilo C1-3; R4 y R5 independientemente entre sí, se seleccionan del grupo formado por hidrógeno, alquilo C1-6, alcoxilo C1-6 ó -COO(alquilo C1-6); ó R4 y R5 forman juntamente con el átomo de C al cual están unidos un anillo cicloalquilo C3-7; R6 es -CO-NR7R8; -COO(alquilo C1-6), -CN, -NR2 ó -NHC(O)R; R7 y R8 independientemente entre sí, se seleccionan del grupo formado por hidrógeno, alquilo C1-6, NH2 ó hidroxilo; R es hidrógeno o alquilo C1-6; n es 0, 1, 2 ó 3, X es -CHRO, -OCHR-, -CH2S-, -SCH2-, -CH2CH2-, -CH=CH- ó -C?C-; y las sales de adición ácida farmacéuticamente activas de los mismos, procedimientos, medicamentos y uso. Se ha descubierto que los compuestos de fórmula general (1) son inhibidores selectivos de la monoamino oxidasa, y son por lo tanto de utilidad en el tratamiento de enfermedades mediadas por los inhibidores de la monoamino oxidasa B, por ejemplo, para el tratamiento de la enfermedad de Alzheimer o la demencia senil.
