Abstract

Se revelan películas orientadas, cintas, y fibras hiladas por hilado de masa fundida que se preparan a partir de composiciones que comprenden a) por lo menos un polímero de polipropileno; y b) por lo menos un copolímero de etileno como por ejemplo dipolímeros acetato de etileno/vinilo, terpolímeros de acetato de etileno/vinilo, dipolímeros de (met)acrilato de etileno/alquilo, terpolímeros de (met)acrilato de etileno/alquilo, copolímeros de etileno funcionalizados, copolímeros de etileno/ácido, y sales de los mismos. Las películas, cintas y fibras muestran propiedades ante la tension mejoradas como por ejemplo resistencia a la traccion y elongacion en el momento de la rotura en comparacion con las composiciones de polipropileno sin modificar. También se revelan textiles tejidos, no tejidos y de punto que se preparan a partir de las fibras orientadas hiladas por hilado de masa fundida que se describe, y métodos para producir fibras cortadas de una película de la presente.
