Abstract

Un método y aparato para obtener estimados de calidad de canal para un programador de enlace descendente ubicado en un Nodo B que se comunica con una pluralidad de unidades inalámbricas de transmisión/recepción (WTRUs). El Nodo B envía una senal a una WTRU programada, a través de un canal de control compartido de alta velocidad (HS-SCCH) que lleva información validado sobre una combinación de recurso de formato de transporte (TFRC), indicando que está por llegar una transmisión a alta velocidad por un canal compartido de enlace descendente (HS-DSCH). El Nodo B indica asimismo la llegada inminente de la trasmisión HS-DSCH enviando una senal a al menos una WTRU no programada a través de un HS-SCCH que lleva información TFRC inválida. El Nodo B transmite la transmisión HS-DSCH a la WTRU programada. La WTRU no programada monitorea un subconjunto de la transmisión de HS-DSCH y, cuando se detecta información TFRC inválida, determina un CQI sin decodificar datos HS-DSCH. De lo contrario, los resultados de verificación de redundancia cíclica (CRC), siempre un mensaje de no confirmación (NACK), son enviados junto con la CQI al Nodo B.
