Abstract

Un método y aparato para compilar una unidad de datos de protocolo (PDU) que tiene una longitud predeterminada de al menos un bloque de datos para transmisión en un sistema de comunicación inalámbrica. Al menos un bloque de datos es designado para transmisión. El bloque de datos es primero almacenado en una memoria. Se generan una lista de información de bloques de datos y una lista de direcciones de bloques de datos para el bloque de datos. La lista de información de bloques de datos contiene la longitud del bloque de datos a ser incluido dentro de la PDU y la lista de direcciones de bloques de datos contiene la dirección de memoria del bloque de datos a ser incluido en la PDU. La PDU es luego compilada utilizando la lista de información de bloques de datos y la lista de direcciones de bloques de datos cuando la PDU está lista para transmisión.
