Abstract

La presente se refiere al uso de mezclas particuladas de LLDPE y LDPE conjuntamente con las condiciones de fabricación específicas para realizar láminas espumadas de calibre delgado con propiedades de corte de DM similares a una lámina no espumada de calibre equivalente de la misma composición. En particular, las mezclas que combinan una alta fracción rica en LLDPE de alto índice de fusión con una menor fracción de LDFE ramificada y de bajo índice de fusión proveen el equilibrio adecuado de resistencia mecánica de la base polímero con su resistencia de fusión, extensibilidad y relajación de tensión, permitiendo una película espumada y delgada con resistencia de corte de DM que es comparable con las contrapartes no espumadas de composición y calibre similares. Las películas espumadas del presente son preferentemente realizadas a partir de por lo menos y en parte de mezclas que comprenden de 10 a 95 % en peso de LLDPE con un índice de fusión relativamente alto (1,5 a 6) y de 5 a 90 % de una resina de LDPE con un índice de fusión relativamente bajo (0,5 a 2,0).
