Abstract
Polvo para suspensión oral, y a una suspensión oral preparada a partir del mismo, que comprende azitromicina en forma no dihidratada y un excipiente que estabiliza la conversión de azitromicina, donde dicho excipiente reduce la conversión de la forma de azitromicina, cuando se pone en suspensión, a otra forma de azitromicina. Procedimiento para reducir la conversión de una forma de azitromicina en forma no dihidratada, en una suspensión oral, añadiendo un excipiente reductor de la tensión superficial que reduce la tensión superficial del vehículo acuoso. Procedimiento para reducir la conversión de una azitromicina en forma no dihidratada en una suspensión oral no aromatizada, elevando la viscosidad de la suspensión oral, y en una suspensión oral aromatizada disminuyendo la viscosidad de la suspensión oral.
